To make it easier for you to understand the meaning of the cave’s availability status markers, with each marker we bring you our commentary based on experience, which will tell you more about what you can actually expect given the current status of the Blue Cave.

The availability of the Blue Cave using the application can be checked only for the current day, never a day or more in advance. The status is published most often between 07:00-08:30 for the current day, but this may also vary slightly depending on the evaluation of authority of the Blue cave in order to provide the most accurate information.
The working hours of the Blue Cave are 09:00-16:00 in the offseason and 08:00-18:00 in the high season in the period from 01.04. – 30.10.

Based on the weather forecast, today we can expect ideal conditions for receiving visitors in the Blue Cave.
Comment:
The chances are almost 100% that the Blue Cave will be open for visitors all day and that the cave’s availability status indicator will not change for that day.

At this time we are arranging visits to the Blue Cave, but since the forecast indicates that the weather will get worse and the sea less suitable for travel, please keep in mind that we may halt operations and postpone further visits to the Blue Cave.
We should stress that under such circumstances, transporters and organized tour groups will travel to Mezoporat Cove at their own risk!

This mark means that you can expect the mark to remain unchanged (80%) for the current day and the cave to be open to visitors.

The current sea conditions and weather are suitable for visits to the Blue Cave. However, since these are ‘borderline’ operating conditions, we should note for the sake of safety and in case of worsening weather and sea conditions that there is a chance of halting operations and further admittance of visitors.

This means that the Blue cave is currently open, but there is a high probability that the cave will be closed (70%) during the day.

Currently poor weather is preventing us from organizing visits to the Blue Cave, but the chance of improved conditions during the course of the day may make it possible to resume operations and receive visitors.

Due to worsening weather and sea conditions, we are halting the further admission of visitors to the Blue Cave.

This sign is a notification about the closure of the Blue cave, which will certainly not change for the current day.

Due to poor weather and precarious conditions at sea, visits to the Blue Cave on the island of Biševo will not be possible all day!

This prominent sign already in the morning makes it clear that there is not the slightest possibility that the cave will be open for visits all day.

Tracking numbers via the application or display at the boarding point for visiting the Blue Cave
The upper number indicates which number is currently on boarding and the lower number indicates the last number sold for visiting the Blue Cave.
When the weather conditions are favorable, the number of people who visit the Blue Cave in one hour is approximately 200. If you were the last to buy a ticket and the display shows 200 numbers of the difference between currently boarding and last issued, you will wait for your turn for approximately 1 hour. You don’t have to wait in line for boarding, but we recommend that you take a place in line no later than 15 minutes before boarding.
